A warm welcome to AndyB Confections, a dessert baker and the latest producer to join the Bryn Mawr Farmers Market. Andy is a Lower Merion resident and graduate of the Culinary School in New York. Using fresh, local, all-natural ingredients (many purchased at the market), AndyB specializes in bright bold flavors in unusual combinations, and cookies are a particular passion. He is also baking fresh fruit pies and tarts, all of which sold out last Saturday – peach and white cherry pie anyone? Or maybe you’d like to try one of his 15 flavors of chocolate chip cookies? Enjoy.
We are still on the lookout for special growers/producers to enhance the market. We’d love to find some local honey, as well as Kennett Square mushrooms. If you have a lead, please pass it along. As always, we welcome your comments and input.
