Native Plants!

The Lower Merion Conservancy will be back at the Bryn Mawr Farmers Market tomorrow with more of their beautiful native plants for sale. Native plants are more than just lovely, they thrive in our local soil and climate and many types also attract beneficial insects such as bees and butterflies. Many native shrubs offer fragrant blooms in the spring and as well as spectacular fall colors. The Conservancy will have a broad selection including spicebush, clethra, dwarf fothergilla, firepinks, turtlehead and more. Come and say hi to Patty Thompson and pick up a few choice native plants for your garden.

We hope to see you for what is sure to be a beautiful Saturday morning at the farmers market!
