The Juice Girls, two adorable Lower Merion young ladies (and their parents), are back after a fantastic successful guest vendor debut last season. They will offer fresh squeezed orange juice this Saturday until they run out outta juice ---- in exchange for donations to benefit Bryn Mawr Beautiful. Did you know the gorgeous seasonal plants and flowers around town, on the streets and hanging baskets at the train station for example, are planted annually by a small group of resident volunteers? And they could always use more green thumbs and help funding their work to beautify our town. Lets us know if youre interested in volunteering!
Summer zizzles at the Bryn Mawr Farmers Market where we anticipate peaches and tomatoes ripening for July and hope this weekend finds you relaxing with family and friends to celebrate Independence Day. Come out to the market for holiday menu ingredients!
Dont forget that our cheese selection is fabulous as you entertain or treat your family to special meals this summer - we've tried a delicious cheese cake using goat cheese recently - does that recipe seem worth transcribing? Let us know! Also please let us know what you'd like to hear more about, see at the market, and experience in our community of Bryn Mawr when you have a minute. We look forward to your emails.
