Its the height of summer and the Bryn Mawr Farmers Market will burst with a bumper crop of produce this Saturday. Here are a few ideas for enjoying all that zucchini, those gorgeous Green Zebra tomatos, sweet corn and the like. Some recipes are fun, some are new, some are standby's ... we hope you'll find one to try. And with so much gorgeous produce available, we like to double our recipes and freeze a batch to enjoy later.

Prefer not to bake when its 100 degrees? AndyB will have his amazing assortment of desserts, including peach and sour cherry pie, nectarine and raspberry pie, plum galette, and his apricot and blueberry tart.

For the chocolate lovers - Chocolate Nut Zucchini Bread

For an easy summer veggie saute - Rainbow Chard with pine nuts, parmesan, and basil

For cheese lovers - Creamy Dandelion Greens and Goat Cheese Gratin ... Weimer's Organics has the dandelion greens, Shellbark Hollow the goat cheese. Comfort food at its best.

For gazpacho lovers - Golden Tomato Soup

For corn lovers - Summer Corn Chowder .... don't forget to use Canter Hill Farm's chicken stock for this! Their stock makes all the difference in your homemade soups and sauces.

For peach lovers - Peach Pie, Peach Ice Cream, Grilled Chicken With Peaches

Thank you all for your continued support of our local farmers, we hope to see you on Saturday!
