Winter Market on Saturday, 10 am - noon!

Yes the first dusting of snow is on the ground - and yet we will have a plentiful Winter Market this Saturday, December 18 from 10 am til noon. Come by and pick up some delicious, locally-grown and produced food items sure to complete your special holiday meal.

Our Winter Farm Markets will continue once a month throughout the season - mark you calendars now! Upcoming market days will be January 22, February 26, March 26 and April 23.

Farmers and producers participating this Saturday include:

Birchrun Hills Farm - cheeses, bacon, sausages, veal chops, veal scallopine, pork chops

Canter Hills Farm -pastured eggs, chicken stock (the BEST), pastured chickens, guinea hens, fresh (never frozen) muscovy duck, lamb, potatoes, onions, garlic, butternut squash

Davidsons Exotics - mushrooms galore!

Herbal Springs Farmstand - jams, vinegars, baked goods, narcissus, all natural beef

John & Kira's Chocolates - gourmet artisan chocolates - terrific hostess gifts

Shellbark Hollow Farm - goat cheeses, goat milk, goat kefir

WildFlour Bakery - European-style breads and baked goods

Chef Jacquie - Will provide a demo of easy dishes utilizing products from the market

Note: While neither AndyB nor Two Gander Farm are able to participate this Saturday, both are expected to take part in our future Winter Market dates. AndyB is busy preparing custom orders for the holidays, while the folks at Two Gander became proud parents this week! Our congratulations to the family.

Bundle up and we hope to see you on Saturday for a festive Winter Market. And all of us at the Bryn Mawr Farmers Market wish you and your family a delicious holiday and a healthy New Year.
