Chicken or Egg, Which First?

Does anyone know how the riddle of the chicken and the egg was solved?
We haven't done the scientific research, but we will assume the EGG as that's what
will be coming first to the Bryn Mawr Farmers Market! Canter Hill Farm, a poultry farm from Malvern, is the latest producer to join the market.
Pick up some of their fresh eggs for your Sunday brunch - or Saturday night chocolate souffle. The Grabe's (she is originally from Rosemont, he is from South Africa) will have plenty of fresh eggs for us tomorrow. Their pasture-raised chickens will be sold at the market beginning early July, and the Grabe family is pursuing organic certification for the farm.

Producers continuing to attend the market this week will include:

Livengood's Produce
Shellbark Hollow
Spice of Life
Wimer's Organics
Wild Flour Bakery
Green Zebra Farm
Herbal Springs Farmstand
Birchrun Hills

We welcome back Birchrun Hills after an unexpected health problem prevented their attendance last week.

Lastly, we are THRILLED to tell you that Farm to City has found us a fruit orchard, likely to begin next week!

Hope to see you tomorrow.

  1. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!! Let's hope the weather gives us a little break, regardless- we've got some incredible cherries for all!
