Happy Thanksgiving!

The Bryn Mawr Farmers Market will be open for another full month of Saturdays, until December 18th. Its getting chilly of course, so bundle up and enjoy outdoor market shopping in the crisp air. Come by tomorrow and pick up some items to make your Thanksgiving extra-special this year. John & Kira's Chocolates or artisan cheeses from Shellbark Hollow and Birchrun Hills make beautiful hostess gifts. Pick up some fresh eggs and sausages for your holiday breakfasts, or delicious desserts and baked goods from AndyB and Wild Flour Bakery. Livengood's Produce and Wimer's Organics will have plenty of fresh produce and salad greens to round out your meals. Hails Family Farm provides the freshest milk you'll ever taste.

And did you know we have fair trade coffee beans available? Check out Roasted by Joe, who shares space with Wild Flour Bakery. Now, the coffee isn't grown locally (obviously), but it is locally-roasted, fair trade and comes from importers who specialize exclusively in organic, bird-friendly, sustainable sources. All of the beans are specialty-grade with minimal packaging. And best of all, this coffee is simply amazing. My Starbucks-addicted and very skeptical husband has been converted. Joe often has a thermos with samples available, we hope you'll give it a try.

The farmers, producers, and bakers all thank you for your support which has enabled the market to stay open til the end of the year! See you on Saturday, and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
